NORMAL GP CONSULTATIONS
Greta Medical Centre offers house calls in the area within 5 km to the surgery, as well as shared care for our obstetric patients at Maitland hospital.
We also provide up to date information and vaccinations for overseas travellers, a well as a full range of free routine childhood immunisations, bulk billed and given by the nurses.
Immunisation clinic days are available too.
HEALTHCARE FOR ALL AGES
Some of our other quality healthcare services include:
- Workers compensation consultations
- Palliative care at home
- A recall system for pap smears, which are suggested second yearly for all women who have ever been sexually active, and may on occasions need to be performed more frequently if indicated by a woman’s past results
- Detection and management of childhood and adult asthma
- Laceration treatment
- Fractures are referred to the fracture clinic at Maitland Hospital, with other referrals to the appropriate specialists as required
SKIN CANCER CLINIC
Greta Medical Centre also has a skin cancer clinic where various minor treatments are available, including cryotherapy (freezing with liquid nitrogen), cautery and surgical removal. Operation fee for these one is $50 Non Rebate able
